Company Law - Immersive Mondays

Course Decription

The aim of this course is to prepare students for the Chartered Governance Institute Qualifying Programme Part 1 exam in Company Law. The course is delivered by 10 weekly sessions on Mondays from 6.00pm to 8.30pm starting on 9th March 2026 and finishing on 18th May 2026. There will be no class on Monday 6th April 2026. The course provides a thorough grounding in, and knowledge and understanding of, the legal framework governing certain business organisations, with particular focus on the registered company. Where appropriate, the course will also cover relevant corporate governance topics, and the relationship between company law and corporate governance. Students wishing to also attend the weekend "Bootcamp" classes on 30th & 31st May 2026 can receive an automatic £50 discount when booking both courses at the same time. To do this, please select the "Company Law - Immersive + Bootcamp May '26" option rather than booking the "Bootcamp" and "Immersive" courses separately. Course features and resources: 1) Sessions are recorded for you to watch online as many times as you like on our learning management system (LMS); 2) All of our unique learning resources are also available to you on our LMS; 3) Weekly "Immersive" classes are restricted to 20 students to maximise tutor/student engagement. "Bootcamp" revision courses are restricted to 25; 4) A guarantee that after having taken the June 2026 exam, should you need to resit, you can complete the course again for free (T&C apply); 5) For our "Immersive" weekly classes, optional exam question homework is set and marked each week by our tutors. This improves student exam writing style & technique and students are well prepared and there are no surprises on exam day; and 6) Qualified lecturers who are current and relevant to the subjects they teach.
