Service Description

The aim of this course is to prepare students for the Chartered Governance Institute Qualifying Programme Part 1 exam in Company Law. This "Mentored" course is for students who prefer to self-study at their own pace but working with a mentor to develop their exam technique through marked assignments and to answer any questions that students may have about syllabus content. Students on the "Mentored" programme have access to our archive of live "Interactive" weekly classes and learning resources which focus on key subject areas and most importantly how to pass the exam. The course provides a thorough grounding in, and knowledge and understanding of, the legal framework governing certain business organisations, with particular focus on the registered company. Where appropriate, the course will also cover relevant corporate governance topics, and the relationship between company law and corporate governance. Note: The upcoming sessions listed below are simply the start and end date of this "Mentored" programme. They are not sessions that you need to attend. Students wishing to also attend the weekend revision "Bootcamp" classes on 30th & 31st May 2026 can receive an automatic £50 discount when booking both courses at the same time. To do this, please select the "Company Law - Mentored + Bootcamp May '26" option rather than booking the "Bootcamp" revision course and the "Mentored" course separately. Course features and resources: 1) Access to recordings of our live sessions to watch online as many times as you like on our learning management system (LMS); 2) All of our unique learning resources are also available to you on our LMS; 3) Bootcamp "Revision" courses are restricted to 25 students; 4) A guarantee that after having taken the June 2026 exam, should you need to resit, you can complete the course again for free (T&C apply); 5) Optional exam question homework is set and marked by our tutors. This improves student exam writing style & technique and students are well prepared and there are no surprises on exam day; and 6) Qualified lecturers who are current and relevant to the subjects they teach.
