Course Decription

Mentored Programme (With Megan Freeman) The aim of this course is to prepare students for the Chartered Governance Institute Qualifying Programme Part 1 exam in Company Law. The programme provides a thorough grounding in, and knowledge and understanding of, the legal framework governing certain business organisations, with particular focus on the registered company. Where appropriate, the course will also cover relevant corporate governance topics, and the relationship between company law and corporate governance. The "Mentored" programme is for students who wish to either attend the weekly live online “Immersive” sessions or self-study watching the recordings at their own pace. At the same time students have access to their own private tutor to help them develop their exam technique through marked assignments and to answer any questions that they may have about syllabus content. The live online weekly “Immersive” classes are delivered by 10 weekly sessions on Mondays from 6.00pm to 8.30pm starting on 31st August 2026 and finishing on 9th November 2026. There is no class on 19 October 2026. Students can also watch the recordings of these sessions at their own pace. In addition to the current “Immersive” classes, students have access to our recording archive and learning resources which focus on key subject areas and most importantly how to pass the exam. Bootcamp - 2 Day Revision Course (With Jess Riches) The aim of this course is to ensure students are “exam ready” The main focus of this course will be exam technique and practice questions. During this course we will also revisit certain key aspects of the syllabus but students attending this course are expected to have a good working knowledge of the syllabus content beforehand. The course is delivered by two full day sessions from 09.00am to 4.30pm on Saturday 7th & Saturday 14th November 2026. Note: The first and last sessions listed below are simply the start and end dates of this "Mentored" programme. They are not sessions that you need to attend. Our Guarantee For students that complete all of the programme requirements & the optional homework assignments, having taken the November 2026 exam, should they need to re-sit the exam, they can complete the "Mentored" programme again for free (T&C apply).
