"Immersive" Weekly Classes The aim of this course is to prepare students for the Chartered Governance Institute Qualifying Programme Part 1 exam in Corporate Governance. The course provides an advanced knowledge and key skills necessary for the company secretary or governance professional to act as chief adviser to the board and other stakeholders on best practice in corporate governance, and as the facilitator for systematic application across a wide range of organisations. The live online weekly “Immersive” classes are delivered by 10 weekly sessions on Wednesdays from 6.00pm to 8.30pm starting on 2nd September 2026 and finishing on 4th November 2026. Bootcamp - 2 Day Revision Weekend The aim of this course is to ensure students are “exam ready” The main focus of this course will be exam technique and practice questions. During this course we will also revisit certain key aspects of the syllabus but students attending this course are expected to have a good working knowledge of the syllabus content beforehand. The course is delivered live online over two full days from 09.00am to 4.30pm on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th November 2026. The combined “Immersive” Course + Weekend Revision “Bootcamp” package features and resources: 1) Sessions are recorded for you to watch online as many times as you like on our learning management system (LMS); 2) All of our unique learning resources are also available to you on our LMS; 3) Weekly "Immersive" classes are restricted to 15 students to maximise tutor/student engagement. "Bootcamp" revision courses are restricted to 20; 4) For our weekly "Immersive" classes, optional exam question homework is set and marked each week by our tutors. This improves student exam writing style & technique ensuring students are well prepared and there are no surprises on exam day; 5) A guarantee that after having completed all of the course requirements & the optional homework assignments, having taken the November 2026 exam, should you need to re-sit the exam, you can complete the "Immersive" programme again for free; and 6) Qualified lecturers who are current and relevant to the subjects they teach.
