Course Decription

The aim of these resources is to prepare students for the Chartered Governance Institute Qualifying Programme Part 1 exam in Corporate Governance. The "Resources" package is for students who prefer to self-study at their own pace without the support of a tutor. Students on the "Resources" package have access to the recordings of live "Interactive" weekly classes and learning resources for the previous exam sitting which focus on key subject areas and most importantly how to pass the exam. These recordings and resources develops an advanced knowledge and key skills necessary for the company secretary or governance professional to act as chief adviser to the board and other stakeholders on best practice in corporate governance, and as the facilitator for systematic application across a wide range of organisations. Note: The upcoming sessions listed below are simply the start and end dates of this "Resources" package. They are not sessions that you need to attend. Students wishing to also attend the weekend revision "Bootcamp" classes on 14th & 15th November 2026 can receive an automatic £50 discount when booking both courses at the same time. To do this, please select the "Corporate Governance - Resources + Bootcamp" option rather than booking the "Bootcamp" revision course and the "Resources" package separately.
