Service Description

The aim of this course is to prepare students for the Chartered Governance Institute Qualifying Programme Part 1 exam in Interpreting Financial and Accounting Information. The course is delivered by 7 weekday sessions on Thursdays from 6.00pm to 8.30pm and 4 Saturday morning classes from 9.00am to 2.00pm starting on 23rd August 2025 and finishing on 9th October 2025. The course develops knowledge of finance and accounting and the ability to use that knowledge to interpret financial and accounting information when providing advice to the board, or a similar decision-making body, in strategy development and/or decision-making. Students wishing to also attend the revision classes on 11th, 18th & 25th November 2025 can receive an automatic £50 discount when booking both courses at the same time. To do this, please select the "IFAI Study Course Plus Revision" option rather than booking the revision course and the 11 session study course individually.
