Risk - Immersive Thursdays

Service Description

The aim of this course is to prepare students for the Chartered Governance Institute Qualifying Programme Part 2 exam in Risk Management. The course is delivered by 10 weekly sessions on Thursday evenings from 5.30pm to 8.15pm starting on 19th March 2026 and finishing on 28th May 2026. There will be no session on Thursday 9th April 2026. The course develops and extends students understanding of the discipline of risk management, including how risk management links to compliance management and complements effective corporate governance in organisations. Students wishing to also attend the weekend revision "Bootcamp" classes on 30th & 31st May 2026 or 6th & 7th June 2026 or "Supercamp" classes on 30th & 31st May and 1st June 2026 or 6th, 7th & 8th June 2026 can receive an automatic £50 discount when booking both courses at the same time. To do this, please select the "Risk - Immersive Thursdays + Bootcamp 1" or "Risk - Immersive Thursdays + Bootcamp 2"or "Risk - Immersive Thursdays + Supercamp 1" or "Risk - Immersive Thursdays + Supercamp 2" option rather than booking the "Bootcamp 1" or "Supercamp 1" or "Bootcamp 2" or "Supercamp 2" revision course and the "Risk - Immersive Thursdays" courses separately. Course features and resources: 1) Sessions are recorded for you to watch online as many times as you like on our learning management system (LMS); 2) All of our unique learning resources are also available to you on our LMS; 3) Weekly "Immersive" classes are restricted to 20 students to maximise tutor/student engagement. "Bootcamp" revision courses are restricted to 25; 4) A guarantee that after having taken the June 2026 exam, should you need to resit, you can complete the course again for free (T&C apply); 5) For our "Immersive" weekly classes, optional exam question homework is set and marked each week by our tutors. This improves student exam writing style & technique and students are well prepared and there are no surprises on exam day; and 6) Qualified lecturers who are current and relevant to the subjects they teach.
